This free, public conference brings together academics and curators from a range of disciplines to explore the art and career of the British, baroque painter, John Michael Wright (1617–1694). Papers will consider the political, social, religious, and cultural networks in which Wright operated. The conference will also address themes including dress and textiles, play and childhood, and mourning and memorialisation.

The conference is open to all, and has been made possible with support from the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art.

Our partial Changing Places toilet has all of the facilities of a full Changing Places toilet, and though the floor area meets the overall size requirement (13.54m2 minimum), it is just a little too narrow to be classed as a full Changing Places toilet.

There are a limited number of small lockers available, but there is no space to store large items of luggage.

There is limited on street parking close by including for those with a blue badge.
